Sensitive
I'm not sure if it's the age or if it's the fact that he is sick, but lately Jordan has such empathy for other people. We were watching a movie today, one that he has seen lots of times, and in one scene the person is sad and thinks about giving up. Jordan came running over to me with tears in his eyes and said, "He's so sad momma. I don't want him to be sad." He's so sweet. He wasn't happy again until the guy in the movie decided not to give up and was happy again. I love my Jordan Boy.

Family Home Evening Kits
I have finally started making my FHE kits again, which have been a lot of fun. A couple friends and I are getting together once a week to make one whole kit so that we can have a new one ready for the upcoming week. They are turning out super cute and I feel good that I am putting all of my "stuff" to use again. I am excited to have the kids see the new activities every week, and it might make them more interested in doing FHE now that there are fun things for them to do and look at. Hopefully. Even if the kids don't appreciate them fully yet, it's still fun for us to get together and make them. So at least I'M getting something out of making them.
Making these kits make me feel like I am making my grandmother proud because she ALWAYS had fun little activities for the kids. I can remember all of her felt boards and slide shows and nursery crafts. It was always so fun to look through all of her fun little church stuff and maybe one day my kids will feel the same. Since my kids don't get to know Grandma Linda on earth at least they'll get the benefit of the things I learned from her, and I think that's what is most important anyway.
